What would you say you do here?

One of the best quotes from one of the best movies! If you have never watched Office Space, go do so... now. I will wait for you. It's only like 90 minutes or so. I will file some TPS Reports until you get back...

Having a little coffee while I wait...

Welcome back! Hope you enjoyed the movie as much as I did. It's really pretty funny, especially if you've worked in a corporate cubicle environment for a minute (or 20 years).

Enough delaying and on to the matter at hand. I wanted to expand a little on my previous post so you know what grandiose plans I have for this blog in the hopes that you will enthusiastically subscribe, and then look forward to seeing (and reading) more awesome posts.

Why Subscribe?

While I am not sure what the future will bring, I plan on creating some great content for this blog. Despite it being May (insert your own JT reference), I have been working on a weekly photo assignment since the beginning of the year. All the previous images from those weeks are going to be posted soon. I will leave them public, but after a few weeks, transition them to subscriber only posts.

In addition to the 5 months of weekly photos, I will of course be posting new weekly projects as they are completed. I will also be creating additional content, and would love to hear what you would love to see as well!

Through more than 3 decades of photography, I have created over 60,000 images.

Yes, that's not a typo. Over the past 30+ years as a photographer, I have amassed an enormous amount of work. Last I looked, I had over 60,000 images created. Probably 98% of those photos have not been shared with anyone. I plan to dive into those archives to share some of those photos (and the stories behind them) with my subscribers.

It should go without saying, but expect no advertising and that your shared info will be kept private. I have no plans to clog down this blog with tons of ads that serve no other purpose than to track you and harvest your personal data.

As I build this new space for us to gather, I am already thinking ahead of how to make your experience here even better. I plan to introduce some community features, such as post likes and commenting, offering discounts on products (prints and wall art) and services (shoots, lessons, etc), and even signed artwork for my most generous supporters. It won't stop there though!

Thank you so much to those of you who see the value of art, and want to support creatives like me. Your support keeps me motivated to create even more for you. Additionally, it puts food on the table, pays for the website (and everything associated with running an ad-free blog), ensures I have working equipment and workflow utilities, and even allows me to pay it forward to other creatives.

If you've made it this far, and have not done so yet, please subscribe now, and be sure to share this post with your friends and family, and on your social media channels. Thank you!
